Synerform™ Flexible Forming
System
Form, Bend, Shear and Cut
Ideal for precision, small part
assembly requirements, Synergistech's Synerform™ Flexible Forming
System (FFS) can be employed to form, bend, shear, adjust, cut and/or
break materials up to .032" thick (0.81mm).
Depending on the product assembly or rework application, the FFS
can be set to produce infinitely adjustable bend radii or can be set
to shear, trim or cut the materials such as brass, copper, steel,
plastic, PVC, etc. in any direction. The FFS is ideally suited for
electronic component and connector applications.
Fully Controllable and Programmable
The FFS incorporates two (or three) independent, fully controllable
and programmable axis. Each axis can be set to operate as a
"wiper", as a "mandrel" or as a
"shear" tool. With requisite, interchangeable application
tools, the FFS can accomplish simple forming, trimming and complex
bending of solder leads, SMT contacts, pin terminals, switch
contacts, plastic bodies, plastic over mold, flashing, etc.
Integrated or Independent Operation
The FFS can be installed and integrated into an automated assembly
system or can be configured as an independent work cell. The FFS can
be used in a diverse range of industries including; computers and
office equipment, automotive, appliance products, connectors,
electronic equipment, pharmaceuticals, toys and novelties,
communication products, controls and instruments, medical and
sporting goods.
